2. This app is designed to expedite this advising process and bring all information needed to the student’s smartphone, including a degree plan checklist, courses completed, courses to be done, and a list of courses the student is qualified to take based on the course sequence.

3. Both the student and the advisor must understand the degree plan and the course sequence to know what courses the student is qualified to take and be on the path to completing the program and graduating.

4. This app also assists students in monitoring their academic progress and provides them with a clear path toward graduation.

5. Advising students is always a time-consuming and sometimes challenging task for both the academic advisors and the students.

6. The above process usually takes 30 to 60 minutes per student.
