5. Upon gaining popularity near the time of its release, a global restriction on traveling placed the anonymous travel share app on hold.

6. Every traveler had a story to tell which made our own stories better, and every hostel had a theme which made it easy to discover each destination.

7. As travellers we wanted to connect with others anonymously, share our experiences and meet more easily.

8. Traveling around Thailand and Cambodia with friends we quickly developed a love for the backpacker and hostel culture.

9. The app enables students to connect to the most exciting and relevant conversations with other students in their university and city.

10. So, we built Hostel Crowds.

11. It was an easy way to meet people and make the most of our holiday.
