1. Whilst not a medical student myself I have witnessed first hand the difficulty of choosing and ranking your job preferences on Oriel as part of the UK Foundation Programme.

2. - The data used for this app was up to date from Oriel on 29th of April 2020.

3. - The app only has data for deaneries in ENGLAND, and therefore does not include Scotland, Wales, NI.

4. Therefore this data represents last year’s jobs however there is little change from year-to-year.

5. - The data used in this app is processed by an algorithm to attempt to improve rankings and statistics accuracy.

6. Instead of ranking your jobs one by one simply rank your specialties and hospitals and allow the app to build your ranking for you.

7. This led me to build this app to try to simplify this difficult process for our soon-to-be doctors.

8. This is an improvement in the vast majority of cases however it can make mistakes.

9. Work is being done to add these deaneries soon.

10. All the while laid out in a much easier to visualise format.

11. Please always check a job individually for the raw data from Oriel (and on Oriel itself in case of updates) when making final decisions.
